Community Counseling Services - SUD Counselors are here to help guide and assist you on your recovery journey.  An Integrated Assessment is used to help determine the appropriate level of care for each and every individual.  Our treatment approaches are approved Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) that provide powerful and effective problem-solving approaches to recovery:

  • South Dakota 12-hour Public Safety DUI program

  • Criminal Justice Initiative – Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Substance Abuse (CBISA)

    •    Pre-CBISA

    •    CBISA Aftercare

  • Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for Substance Use Disorders

  • Level 0.5 – Early Intervention services

  • Level 1 – Outpatient Treatment

  • Level 2.1 – Intensive Outpatient Treatment

  • Referrals for Residential and Inpatient Treatment

  • Beadle County Drug Court

  • Co-Occurring Treatment:  Integrated MH & SUD treatment

  • Seeking Safety:  integrated SUD & PTSD treatment

 
Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Services

The Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) program is a community-based approach to prevention that is a data-driven, five-step process.  The five steps are designed to help communities build prevention competencies and the infrastructure necessary to implement and sustain effective prevention programs, policies, and practices.  Primary Prevention are strategy directed at individuals not identified to be in need of Substance Use Disorder treatment.  Currently, these services are primarily offered in Beadle and Kingsbury Counties.   

  1. Conduct a Community Needs Assessment

  2. Build Local Capacity

  3. Develop a Strategic Plan

  4. Implement Evidence-Based Programs, Practices, and Policies (EBPs)

    1. PRIME for Life

    2. Too Good for Drugs

    3. Life Skills

  5. Monitor and Evaluate Program Effectiveness
